Whether you are hosting a catholic or non catholic wedding ceremony, classical music can be a beautiful addition to your ceremony. From traditional pieces by well-known composers to more modern interpretations, there is a wealth of options to choose from that can help set the tone for your special day.

Request song recommendations from your married friends

Many of my clients have favorite songs. By turning to your friends for suggestions, this eases your nerves in accidentally choosing a piece that you regret down the road (although I feel like it's hard to choose an undesirable ceremony song!) One popular choice is "How Beautiful" originated by Twila Paris. This song makes for a great choice as a prelude song, offertory hymn, or communion hymn.

If your ceremony is in a church, clarify the mass setting.

Officiants and/or priests follow specific mass styles during their sermons. This means your Gospel Acclamation, Memorial Acclamation, Lamb of God, and other specialized songs will vary depending on the type of mass being celebrated. The following mass settings are a few examples:
